When Push Comes to Shove Do You Have What It Takes To Get Back Up Again?

Doors open and doors close. People fail and people succeed.

Do you find that you look for the open door after one shuts in your face?  Are you a brush yourself off and get back up again kind of person? If you are, then keep at it, the right door will open.  Eventually, everyone finds their open door.  It’s just a matter of persistence.

If you are afraid of failure or you’re too worried that the fall may hurt, then go buy yourself some bubble wrap and a comfortable bed.  You might as well resign yourself to just letting time fly by as you do nothing with your life.  Being afraid to try or being afraid to fail is the best way to get exactly what you don’t want, failure.

Failure doesn’t happen to those that want to succeed, instead what they experience is momentary setbacks.  Failure only happens to those that quit trying.  Failure is when you resign yourself to the fact that you believe that it is over.  You decide to stop.  Failure is 100% on you.

If you are afraid to fail and you never start, then you can’t be upset if you still feel stuck or like life isn’t going anywhere for you.  If you truly want something different in your life or you want to be the difference you must act.  The action starts with a decision.  You must decide to not quit.  The decision to not quit will keep you focused and ready for opportunities.

In order to understand success, you have to realize that difficult situations will arise and they may knock you off the course you had planned, but those that don’t quite see a hard time or an unforeseen outcome as a growth opportunity.  Not quitting at your dreams means you are willing to change your plans if needed.  Not quitting means being flexible with your life and your daily activities.  Not quitting means staying focused and driven when others around you are throwing in the towel.

So whether you metaphorically have to push or shove, just keep moving towards your goals!
