Emotions are a key piece in goal setting and achieving.  Positive emotions add fuel to your fire and inspire you to continue towards your goals.  Negative emotions can and will distract you and lead you down a path of confusion and doubt.  Doubt is a goal killer.  Keep your emotions positive and happy so that you can respond and not react to situations as they occur.  Responding keeps you in control of the situation, reacting allows outside circumstances to control your actions.
