Your eye doctor checks your vision with an eye chart and confirms that you are seeing 20/20. If you are deficient in your vision you are prescribed glasses or contact lenses. It’s then up to you to wear your corrective lenses to bring your eye sight back to 20/20.
So who do you go to when your life lacks vision? What if you aren’t seeing your potential with 20/20 vision?
Vision starts with purpose. When you have purpose and live your purpose daily, you are walking in line with your life as it was designed for you. Discovering your purpose and then living it daily will help you take the next step in going after bigger goals and visions. Figuring out your purpose is like getting your prescription to your lenses filled. You are able to see clearly, procrastinate less and act more. After you begin to live your purpose daily you must set a goal. Setting a goal keeps your eyes towards a target. It’s hard to move anywhere in life without direction. Your purpose and vision put you back on your 20/20 path.
When you get stuck, seek council. Just remember that whomever you are asking for advice needs to be qualified. You wouldn’t ask the barista at your local coffee shop to prescribe you glasses, so why ask your neighbor, co-worker or a family member for advice when they aren’t living their purpose nor do they set goals for themselves. Remember, when you’re stuck, seek the advice of someone who understands your needs. Someone whom understand that everyone needs a purpose, a goal, and a clearly defined vision.
When you are able to see and have a clearly defined vision you are able to bring your life into 20/20 focus and you can start taking steps towards living a purpose filled life daily. So stop and get your life’s vision checked today!
