Life will pay your price

Life will pay the price you ask.  The question is, what price are you asking it to pay you?  Are you earning what you truly want to earn?  Are you living in the house you want to live in?  Are you happy?  Truly happy?

You see, life will pay the price you ask, the issue is most people only ask for what they think they can safely do.  Forget about safety.  Go after it. Go after your dreams, after all you wouldn’t dream them if you couldn’t achieve them.

Too many of us waste our time doing meaningless things instead of spending our time where it matters most.  If you could spend your time doing anything you wanted, what would you do?  You see, I have come to realize that I wasted way too much of my life just getting by and doing what others expected me to do.  I wasn’t living the life of my dreams.  I was living someone else’s vision of what my life should be.  It wasn’t until I listened to my inner voice did I discover the confidence to branch out and truly live.

It’s scary in the beginning, but then things got easier.  And do you know what I learned, life wants to pay me for everything I demand.  Don’t get caught up right now thinking that I’m talking money.  There are plenty of rich people who are miserable, it’s not about the money, it’s about getting the most out of our lives and living our dreams. The burning desires within us want us to succeed, but far too often we get in our own way.  Get out of your way and demand that life give you a raise.

Here is the trick, you can’t just ask for the raise and then idly wait for it.  You MUST act.  Take the first action step towards your life of your dreams.  The first step is always the scariest, but each step after that gets easier.

Do you think that anyone who ever did anything worthwhile in their life found that first step to be easy?  If they say they did, then either they are lying to you or they didn’t ask life to pay a high enough price.  Our dreams, our goals, our visions should frighten us, it’s the rush of accomplishing that makes life give you the raises along the way.

So today, I challenge you…..change your PRICE.  Make life pay you a higher price.  Once you do, you will be happy you asked more of yourself and of life.
