When did the word WORK become such a bad thing to say? Why is it people want to be able to have everything without putting in the effort?
As a former professional athlete, it took me hours of training each day to just maintain the level at which I was competing. In order to get better and to improve I had to give more effort and train harder. The same applies for life. If you want more out of life you must put more into life. Being passionate about an idea or wanting to start a company is great, but if you think that someone else will hand you over a multimillion or billion-dollar company without you putting the work in then you need to think again.
Working towards something you want to achieve shouldn’t be a dirty word any more. Bring back the blue collared worker mindset, the worker that prided themselves in putting in a good day’s work! I learned everything about being a success from watching the blue collar workers around me take pride in the jobs they were performing. I learned that sometimes you have to put in long hours, sometimes when you are going after something you want you might have sleepless nights. But, when the task is completed you have a sense of pride because you put in your best effort.
Granted, only working hard won’t make you a success, you have to understand how to listen to you intuition. When you work hard and tap into the guiding voice in your head, you become nearly unstoppable. Stop listening to people tell you about a get rich quick idea and put in the work.
By now, I’m sure I have upset some of my readers, but that’s okay. The fact that you are reading this blog, means that I put in the WORK to take time to write a blog. If you watch my videos, it’s because I put in the WORK to record my videos. If you a studying one of my programs, it’s because I put in the WORK to create, record, write and publish my program. See what I’m getting at? Hard work does pay off!
Get out there and put in the work and achieve your goals!
