Are you setting goals by throwing pennies in a wishing well?

Achieving a goal doesn’t happen by mere chance or luck.  If you want to achieve your goals you have to work daily towards them.  You have to add drops into your goal bucket.  These daily drops will quickly add up until your bucket is overflowing and you are able to accomplish the dreams you have been going after.

The issue that most people have is that they are trying to fill up too many buckets at one time.  Instead of concentrating on one goal at a time they start goal hopping.  They over think and lose track of putting their effort into the outcome, instead they get lost in the details of the goal.

So what should you be doing to achieve your goal?

  1. Write out your goal and carry it with you daily.
  2. Read your goal as often as possible.
  3. Spend time visualizing what it will feel like when you achieve your goal.
  4. Give thanks for already achieving your goal

These 4 steps will help to add a steady flow to your goal bucket.  The quicker you take action and the more action you take towards your goals then the more successful you will be at achieving them.

Remember, start with one drip in your goal bucket at a time and before you know it you will be overflowing with actions that put you and keep you on the path of becoming a goal achiever.
