The Saddest Thing

I once heard it said that the saddest thing at a funeral isn’t the death of the body, but the death of all the dreams that never happened.  Looking back on the life of my dear loved ones that are now looking down on me and watching me work towards my dreams and aspirations, I have to say that I agree.  Too many of us give up on our dreams and wants for “safety”.  We stay in situations that we don’t like or jobs we can’t stand because it’s easier than actually venturing out and living life.  I’m not saying take “stupid” risks, I’m saying actually live and go after the life you want.  After all, last time I checked we get one shot at living and I’m going to live my life to the fullest.

We aren’t put her to simple work and die!  Yet, we all believe this is the way it’s supposed to be…..why?!?!  This is crazy!  We are physical beings, we have a soul and we are gifted with an intellect.  Maybe it’s about time we start to live through our soul and use our intellect to advance us in life.  Every day I wake up and I make the most out of my day.  I give thanks and express gratitude nightly for everything that was brought into my life.  You see I am happy that I am actually finally living my life, going after my dreams and goals.  At the end of the day I know I gave all I could that day to be the best version of me possible.  Isn’t this the way we are really supposed to live?  When you live life to the fullest you won’t have regrets and unfulfilled dreams when it’s our time to transition out of our physical body.

So hears to joy and happiness and living your life to the fullest!
